ABOUT THE LITTLE LIGHTHOUSE

Meet Sarah
Hello, My Name is Sarah, I am the director of the little lighthouse and i also create, manage and run all classes as well as deliver my soul guidance and empowerment reading's for women. A little bit about me and my background, I have two children Andrew and Amelia who are my world. I have a love for nature and animals a passion for helping others and I have been an Autism and ADHD mum for 15 years. I have fought through and overcome many battles involving my emotional and mental well-being throughout my 38 years, from childhood to adulthood and each experience i have moved through i have come to learn something from. I have also been an on demand carer for my son for the past 15 years so i understand the emotional, mental and physical struggles of being a spectrum parent and the emotional, mental and physical effects of being a full time carer.I gained my COSCA counselling skills qualification at West Lothian College where i also studied Mindfulness. I then went on to gain my coaching qualification. I am also first aid qualified and a member of disclosure Scotland. The lighthouse has always been a dream of mine, i imagined creating a place where people could go to connect with others, feel safe, understood and accepted.
The lighthouse is all about connection, and bringing people together i aim to create groups that serve people of all ages and that aim to engage, encourage, empower and educate people of the West Lothian community. I look forward to meeting and serving the people of West Lothian in the future.
